Tutorial : Preparing & Uploading Photos

the Wedding Library allows you to upload photos for various portions of your website. Our website automatically generates thumbnails (small previews) of your photos to fit your website. Follow these simple steps to prepare and upload your photos.

Scan or shoot photos

If you do not have a scanner or digital camera, or simply want us to do the scanning for you, just submit your photos to us, and we can prepare and upload them for a minimal fee.

RESIZE YOUR IMAGES

Use your imaging software to resize your photos to the appropriate size. You do not have to resize your images to exact dimensions for your website, our software will automatically do that for you, but do make sure that your photos can at least fit in your computer screen without having to scroll. If possible, resize photos to a maximum width of 600 pixels. Resizing your photos also makes their file sizes smaller.

All photos must have a file size of 100kb or smaller, otherwise, they will be rejected by our server.

For questions or more information, e-mail us at customerservice.com.ph.

SAVE YOUR PHOTOS IN JPEG (.jpg) FORMAT

Save in JPEG format After preparing your images, save each of them in JPEG (.jpg) format. Save them in a location you can easily find, and use filenames that will let you distinguish one photo from another.

Some imaging software prompts you for JPEG compression setting. This allows you to save your images with an even smaller filesize. Use the highest compression possible without distorting your images. A setting of 40% usually works well.

UPLOAD YOUR PHOTOS IN THEIR RESPECTIVE CATEGORIES

Go to your photos upload form, Upload Photo Album or Website Photos & Graphics, and upload your images. You may upload your images by clicking the Browse... button, selecting your file from your disk, and clicking Upload.

Uploading time varies depending on the file size of your photo, and your internet connection. Be patient. The page will refresh to display your newly uploaded photos.

That's it. You're done!
